Moral values are the key component of someone's character.

Values are personality traits that guide us to make judgments and decisions based on what we think is right or wrong. Since every one of us has different experiences, values can vary from person to person. This is why we have different reactions to different kinds of situations. And most of the time, a person’s values are a reflection of the environment they grew up in.

Teaching kids good values can help them to think from others' perspective and to help others. It might also help them to know their purpose in life and what good things they need to do for others in society. Moral values help people to be more selfless and put the needs of others before themselves.
